My move to Daniel Island…

Tonight's post is going to be a personal one, because as you know our personal lives are reflected in our work.  Many people have noted lately that my paintings make them feel "peaceful"- that they look "calm and content".

I don't think its any coincidence that I met the love of my life last February, or that we were engaged last month.  I moved to Daniel Island and I am about to marry into my new family- with Mike, Luke (14) and Kate (12).  I could not be happier- and my new studio has been super productive as a result.  I will post some new paintings in progress soon, but wanted to share a nice article about my recent move, and my path to becoming an artist.
