Spring and new beginnings...

This year has been a roller coaster.  In September of last year I became very ill- with a cough I thought was whooping cough.  It was not until February that I discovered the house I was renting had mold, and I quickly packed up my home and studio and searched for a new place.  I am happy to say I found a place that is perfect.  A little blue duplex in my favorite neighborhood on James Island- with a huge one car garage that is now my framing shop, and an extra room that is the new studio.

I am feeling better, getting set up and painting again, starting my herb garden, and just built a pallet fence for my dog Anni.  The tide has turned completely and it seems each application I send is returned with an acceptance, and my calendar is already filled with shows for the season.

I am honored that I have been invited to exhibit in Piccolo Spoleto in Marion Square from May 22nd-June 7th, and the following week in the renowned Virginia Beach Boardwalk Show.  I just finished my favorite commission of 2014- "Folly"- a loggerhead seaturtle over a Charleston chart that was framed in wood from a recycled beach walk, and am hoping this year brings many more.....
